Ingredients

  • 2 lb. frozen hashbrowns
  • 1 c. melted butter
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1 1/2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1 pt. sour cream
  • 2 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Defrost the frozen hashbrowns.
  2. Combine the hashbrowns, melted butter, salt, pepper, chopped onion, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and grated Cheddar cheese in a bowl.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
  4. Top with crushed cornflakes.
  5. Bake uncovered at 275°F for 60 minutes.
