A hearty one-dish chicken and stuffing bake featuring tender chicken breasts topped with savory stuffing and a creamy mushroom sauce, perfect for a comforting family dinner.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups seasoned stuffing
  • 6 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
  • Paprika
  • 1 can (10 3/4 ounce) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Mix the stuffing with 1/2 cup boiling water and 1 tablespoon margarine. Spoon the stuffing across the center of a 2-quart shallow baking dish.
  2. Place the chicken breasts on each side of the stuffing in the dish.
  3. Sprinkle the chicken with paprika.
  4. Mix the cream of mushroom soup, milk, and chopped fresh parsley together.
  5. Pour the soup mixture over the chicken.
  6. Cover the dish and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15 minutes.
  7. Uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the chicken is no longer pink and cooked through.
