Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 envelopes spaghetti sauce mix
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 7 oz. spaghetti, broken
  • 5 c. water
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste

Instructions

  1. In a large heavy saucepan, brown the ground beef, then drain off excess fat.
  2. Add water, spaghetti sauce mix, tomato paste, butter, and salt to the saucepan, and bring to a boil.
  3. Add broken spaghetti to the boiling mixture.
  4. Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, until the spaghetti is tender, about 20 minutes.
