One Rise Rolls

Instructions
- Soak the yeast in 1/2 cup cold water and set aside.
- Cream together shortening and sugar; add 1/2 cup boiling water and mix until well blended.
- Add eggs to the mixture and then add the soaked yeast, mixing well.
- Add dry ingredients: flour, soda, baking powder, and salt; mix until a stiff batter forms.
- Put the batter in the refrigerator overnight.
- About an hour before serving, roll out the chilled dough and let it rise.
- Shape into rolls or cloverleaf shapes and place in greased muffin tins.
- Bake at 400°F until golden brown.
