- Assemble doughmaker with small bowl.
- Heat water to 120°F.
- In small bowl, place 1 1/2 cups flour, yeast, salt, and sugar.
- Add water and oil; mix with doughmaker at setting #12 for 3 minutes.
- Gradually add enough remaining flour to form a stiff dough.
- Knead with doughmaker about 4 minutes until smooth and satiny.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, turning once to grease top.
- Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled in bulk, about 1 hour.
