Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 cups warm water
  • 1 tablespoon salad oil
  • 3 to 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon onion soup mix
  • 1 package active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon vegi salt
  • cornmeal

Instructions

  1. Assemble doughmaker with small bowl.
  2. Heat water to 120°F.
  3. In small bowl, place 1 1/2 cups flour, yeast, salt, and sugar.
  4. Add water and oil; mix with doughmaker at setting #12 for 3 minutes.
  5. Gradually add enough remaining flour to form a stiff dough.
  6. Knead with doughmaker about 4 minutes until smooth and satiny.
  7. Place dough in a greased bowl, turning once to grease top.
  8. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled in bulk, about 1 hour.
