Ingredients

  • 6 slices bread (day old)
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1/2 c. seedless raisins
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Break bread into small pieces and place in a 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
  2. Sprinkle cinnamon over the bread, then add seedless raisins and melted butter.
  3. Toast the bread mixture lightly in a 350°F oven.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix eggs, sugar, milk, and vanilla extract.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the bread crumbs and ingredients in the baking dish.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes or until the pudding is solid.
