Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup nuts, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon orange rind, grated
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3/4 cup raisins
  • 1 cup apple, chopped

Instructions

  1. Bake in two family-size soup cans, 2/3 full, or a 46 oz. juice can.
  2. Grease cans before filling.
  3. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
