Ingredients

  • 1 (1 lb.) can whole cranberry sauce
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 3/4 c. orange juice
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 turkey breast (4 to 6 lb.), thawed

Instructions

  1. In a large kettle or covered pan, bring the cranberry sauce, chopped onion, orange juice, cinnamon, and salt to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat and add the turkey breast.
  3. Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until turkey is fork-tender.
  4. Remove the turkey and let it stand for 15 to 20 minutes.
  5. Cook the remaining liquid down or thicken with flour to make a sauce.
