Ingredients

  • 4 steaks, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 4 ounces pickled banana pepper rings

Instructions

  1. Select a nonstick skillet large enough to hold all four steaks.
  2. Heat 3 tablespoons of cooking oil in the skillet until approximately 310° to 350°, then sprinkle with 1/8 teaspoon of garlic powder.
  3. Carefully place the steaks into the hot oil and top with 4 ounces of pickled banana pepper rings.
  4. Turn the steaks occasionally to ensure they cook evenly.
  5. Remove the steaks from the skillet and drain oil from the pepper rings.
  6. Return the steaks immediately to the skillet and place on a burner set at medium heat.
  7. Pour soy sauce over the steaks and peppers.
  8. Turn the steaks frequently until most of the soy sauce has been absorbed and the steaks are caramel-colored.
  9. Place the steaks on a meat platter and top with additional pepper rings.
