Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. honey
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 1 (12 oz.) package frankfurters or smoked sausage, cut into 1/4-inch diagonal slices

Instructions

  1. Mix water, soy sauce, honey, sugar, cornstarch, garlic powder, and ground ginger in a bowl.
  2. Cook frankfurters or sausage in vegetable oil just until edges begin to curl.
  3. Stir in the soy sauce mixture.
  4. Cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and the frankfurters or sausages are evenly coated.
  5. Stir in chopped green onion.
  6. Serve with fancy wooden picks.
