Ingredients

  • 12 chicken legs
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup corn flake crumbs
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup margarine, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Wipe chicken legs with damp paper towel.
  3. In a clean bag, combine flour, corn flake crumbs, salt, pepper, poultry seasoning, and garlic powder.
  4. Dip chicken in beaten eggs a couple at a time, then shake in the bag to coat with the flour mixture.
  5. Arrange the coated chicken legs in a greased pan.
  6. Pour melted margarine over the chicken.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes at 400°F.
  8. Remove foil, increase oven temperature to 450°F, and bake for an additional 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown.
