Ingredients

  • 4 medium potatoes
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 tablespoon grated onion
  • salt
  • pepper
  • dash of paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. Wash potatoes and cut into 1/8-inch thick slices. Arrange in a single layer on a lightly buttered baking sheet.
  3. In a small saucepan, melt butter or margarine and add grated onion, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  4. Brush the butter mixture onto the potato slices.
  5. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until potatoes are crisp and golden.
  6. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the chips and serve immediately.
