Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. dry yeast
  • 3 c. warm water
  • 1/2 c. melted butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 10 c. flour

Instructions

  1. About 5 p.m., dissolve yeast in warm water.
  2. Add melted butter, sugar, salt, and beaten eggs to the yeast mixture.
  3. Mix well and gradually add flour, kneading until the dough is smooth and elastic.
  4. Knead the dough every hour until 9:30 p.m.
  5. Shape the dough into desired rolls and place on a baking sheet.
  6. Allow the rolls to rise overnight, covered.
  7. Bake the rolls the next morning at 350°F for about 15 to 20 minutes.
