Ingredients

  • 4 lb chuck roast
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 stick oleo
  • 1 can beef broth
  • little water

Instructions

  1. Brown the chuck roast in oleo.
  2. Place the browned meat and chopped celery, chopped onion, beef broth, and little water into a crock-pot.
  3. Cook on low for 16 to 18 hours.
  4. Tear the meat with a fork and serve on buns or as is.
  5. Optional: add barbecue sauce for sandwiches.
