Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb sausage
  • 1 pt oysters
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 2 c cooked rice
  • 1/2 lb hamburger
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 large onion
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Cook chopped onion, garlic, and bell pepper in a little Wesson oil for about 10 minutes.
  2. Add ground beef, sausage, salt, and pepper; cook slowly, stirring often until it begins to brown.
  3. Add drained oysters and cook for 20 minutes or until most of the water from the oysters is gone.
  4. Drain the mixture, then add cooked rice.
  5. Blend well and serve.
