Ingredients

  • 6 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 c. cracker crumbs
  • 1 pt. oysters
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • parsley
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a saucepan.
  2. Add cracker crumbs to the melted butter and mix well.
  3. Spread one-third of the mixture in a greased baking dish.
  4. Place half of the oysters on top of the crumbs in a single layer.
  5. Season the oysters with salt and pepper.
  6. Add a layer of cracker crumbs, followed by a layer of oysters, then a final layer of crumbs.
  7. Pour milk evenly over the top.
  8. Bake at 350°F for about 30 minutes until the top is browned.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
