Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup plain flour
  • 1 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or raisins or both
  • 1 cup chopped apples
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. Mix sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, chopped apples, chopped walnuts or raisins or both, beaten egg, and vanilla in a mixing bowl; mix well.
  2. Grease a 10-inch pie pan.
  3. Pour the mixture into the prepared pie pan.
  4. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25 minutes.
  5. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or Cool Whip.
