Pan-grilled catfish fillets with sautéed onions and green peppers, seasoned with lemon pepper and Cajun salt, perfect for a flavorful, quick seafood meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 green pepper, sliced
  • lemon pepper
  • Cajun seasoning salt
  • 4 large catfish fillets
  • 1 Tbsp. oleo or butter

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the oleo or butter.
  2. Add sliced onion and green pepper, and sauté until tender, stirring occasionally.
  3. Push the vegetables to one side of the skillet.
  4. Place the catfish fillets in the skillet, one at a time.
  5. Sprinkle lemon pepper and Cajun seasoning salt over the fillets.
  6. Top the fillets with the sautéed onion and green pepper.
  7. Cook until the catfish is done, approximately 30 minutes.
