Ingredients

  • 1 lb. fish fillet
  • 1/2 cup skim milk
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup oat bran
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Place fish in a shallow baking dish and cover with skim milk. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
  2. Drain and pat dry the fish fillets.
  3. Combine egg white and lemon juice in a shallow dish and set aside.
  4. Mix oat bran, paprika, and black pepper in a separate dish.
  5. Dip the fish fillets into the egg mixture, then coat with the oat mixture.
  6. Cook in vegetable oil in a nonstick skillet for 3 minutes on each side or until evenly browned.
