Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 lb. hamburger
  • 1 large chopped onion
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 lb. roll chili con carne
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the hamburger and drain excess fat.
  2. Combine all ingredients except chili con carne in a large pot.
  3. Cover with water.
  4. Bring to a boil and cook for 1 hour.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer for an additional hour.
  6. Add chili con carne almost at the end of cooking and stir well.
