Parmesan Cheese Bits

Ingredients

  • 1 c. sifted flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/16 tsp. pepper
  • 1 can grated Parmesan cheese (3 oz.)
  • 1/2 c. soft butter

Instructions

  1. Combine first 4 ingredients.
  2. Cut in butter until the particles are the size of small peas.
  3. Knead and work with hands or spoon until a smooth ball is formed.
  4. Roll out on floured pastry board to 1/2-inch thickness.
  5. Cut into shapes of any design.
  6. Place on greased baking sheet.
  7. Brush with milk.
  8. Bake in a 375° oven for 20 minutes.
