Ingredients

  • 1 cup biscuit mix
  • 1/2 cup drained pineapple tidbits
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup pineapple syrup or juice
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • dash of nutmeg or cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Combine biscuit mix, drained pineapple tidbits, and chopped nuts.
  2. Spread the mixture thin in the bottom of a greased 10 x 6 x 2-inch baking dish.
  3. Bring pineapple syrup or juice, brown sugar, and butter to a boil.
  4. Pour the boiling mixture over the dough in the baking dish.
  5. Bake in a preheated 375°F oven for 30 minutes.
  6. Sprinkle with nutmeg or cinnamon before serving.
  7. Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
