Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper

Instructions

  1. Melt margarine over low heat in a heavy saucepan.
  2. Add flour, stirring constantly until smooth.
  3. Cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  4. Gradually add milk while stirring.
  5. Cook until thickened and bubbly.
  6. Stir in cheese, mustard, and salt until cheese is melted.
  7. Remove from heat.
