Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Pulse the all-purpose flour, grated Parmesan cheese, ground red pepper, and butter in a food processor until blended.
  2. Shape the dough into two 4-inch logs, wrap in plastic wrap, and chill in an airtight container for 8 hours. Freeze up to 3 weeks if desired, then thaw in the refrigerator overnight.
  3. Cut the chilled dough into 1/4-inch thick slices and place on a lightly greased baking sheet.
  4. Brush the slices with milk and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
