Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 1/2 cup white corn syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 quarts orange juice
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Beat the eggs well.
  2. Mix in the white corn syrup, ground ginger, cloves, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. Stir in the chilled orange juice and lemon juice.
  4. Cut the vanilla ice cream into chunks about the size of small eggs.
  5. Put the ice cream chunks into a large punch bowl.
  6. Pour the chilled ginger ale over the ice cream.
  7. Stir in the egg mixture until well combined.
  8. Sprinkle with nutmeg before serving.
