Party Eggs are delightful baked egg toasts topped with bacon and cheese, perfect for brunch or entertaining guests with their crispy edges and rich flavors.

Ingredients

  • 6 slices toast
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 6 strips bacon
  • 6 eggs
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Crack eggs, pouring whites into a mixing bowl and leaving yolks in one half of each shell.
  2. Place the eggs in an egg carton or small muffin tin to keep upright until ready to use.
  3. Beat egg whites until stiff; season with salt and pepper.
  4. Place toast on a baking sheet and butter each slice.
  5. Distribute cooked bacon on top of each toast.
  6. Divide the beaten egg whites between the toasts, mounding them high.
  7. Make an indentation in the center of each egg white mound and slip the yolks into these indentations.
  8. Top each with grated cheese.
  9. Bake for 7 to 10 minutes, until whites are browned and yolks are set to your preference.
