- Cook sausage in a skillet until the color changes, but do not brown. Drain the excess fat.
- In a 9 x 14 x 2-inch baking dish, place the bread slices in the bottom.
- Sprinkle the cooked sausage evenly over the bread.
- Cover with grated Cheddar cheese.
- Combine beaten eggs and milk; pour the mixture over the cheese and bread.
- Cover the dish and refrigerate overnight.
- In the morning, bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 25 to 30 minutes until set and light brown.
