Party Shrimp

Juicy, flavorful shrimp coated in garlic butter and Worcestershire sauce, perfect for entertaining guests at parties with easy-to-serve skewers or dishes. Delicious warm or cold.

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 1/2 lb raw shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a pan, but do not let it brown.
  2. Mix in the garlic salt.
  3. Add the shrimp and cook, stirring, over medium heat for about 8 minutes, until the shrimp begin to turn pink.
  4. Do not overcook.
  5. Add the Worcestershire sauce.
  6. Stir to mix.
  7. Turn off the heat; cover and let sit for 4 to 5 minutes.
  8. Sprinkle on the parsley.
  9. Pierce each shrimp with a toothpick or place the shrimp in a serving dish with toothpicks alongside so guests can help themselves.
  10. Serve warm or cold.
