Ingredients

  • 2 cups matzo meal
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup peanut oil
  • 4 eggs

Instructions

  1. Combine matzo meal, salt, and sugar in a mixing bowl.
  2. Bring water and peanut oil to a boil in a saucepan.
  3. Add the boiling water and oil mixture to the dry ingredients and mix well.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time until fully incorporated.
  5. Allow the mixture to stand for 15 minutes.
  6. With oiled hands, shape the dough into rolls and place on a well-greased cookie sheet.
  7. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 50 minutes or until golden brown.
