Ingredients

  • 1 lb. green beans, French-cut
  • 2 to 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1/4 c. onions
  • 2 Tbsp. parsley
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
  • dash of cloves

Instructions

  1. Cook the green beans as directed.
  2. Melt butter in a saucepan and sauté onions until tender.
  3. Add cooked green beans along with remaining ingredients.
  4. Simmer until the beans are tender and flavors meld.
