Ingredients

  • 2 anchovy fillets
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper
  • 6 or more cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • 2 cups wine stock
  • grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 pound pasta

Instructions

  1. Saute onion in a small pot until soft.
  2. Add mashed garlic and anchovy fillets.
  3. Cook slowly until garlic softens.
  4. Add wine stock, basil, red pepper, and simmer for 15 to 30 minutes.
  5. Cook pasta until al dente.
  6. Drain pasta and pour the sauce over it.
  7. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese on top.
