A hearty pasta bake featuring flavorful meat sauce, melted provolone and mozzarella cheeses, and tender shell macaroni, perfect for comforting family dinners and casual gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. hamburger
  • 14 oz. Ragu spaghetti sauce
  • 2 chopped onions
  • 1/4 chopped green pepper
  • 1 can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 1/2 pt. sour cream
  • 8 oz. Provolone cheese
  • 8 oz. Mozzarella cheese
  • 3 oz. can mushrooms
  • 14 oz. shell macaroni

Instructions

  1. Cook the shell macaroni until tender and drain.
  2. Combine the cooked macaroni, cooked hamburger, spaghetti sauce, chopped onions, chopped green pepper, stewed tomatoes, and mushrooms in a large pot.
  3. Simmer the mixture for 20 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the sour cream.
  5. Transfer to a baking dish, top with Provolone and Mozzarella cheeses.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) until cheese is bubbly and golden, about 15 minutes.
