Pasta With Beans Soup

Ingredients
- 1/2 pound lean ground beef ⓘ
- 1 onion, chopped ⓘ
- 2 (15 oz.) cans tomatoes ⓘ
- 1 (16 oz.) can garbanzo beans ⓘ
- 1 (15 oz.) can red kidney beans ⓘ
- 1 (15 oz.) can navy beans ⓘ
- 2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans beef broth ⓘ
- 2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans chicken broth ⓘ
- 1 (8 oz.) package small shell macaroni, cooked ⓘ
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon oregano ⓘ
- 1 teaspoon sweet basil
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a large Dutch oven or pan.
- Add chopped onion, canned tomatoes, garbanzo beans, kidney beans, navy beans, and beef and chicken broth; simmer for 15 minutes.
- Just before serving, stir in cooked small shell macaroni, pepper, oregano, and basil.
- Serve immediately, sprinkled with grated Romano or Parmesan cheese.
