Ingredients

  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 lb. spaghetti
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 c. olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp. anchovy paste
  • 3 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
  • pinch of cayenne
  • 5 Tbsp. butter

Instructions

  1. In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the spaghetti until done; drain.
  2. Mince the garlic.
  3. Combine the olive oil, garlic, anchovy paste, chopped parsley, cayenne, and butter into the hot pot.
  4. Return the cooked spaghetti to the pot and toss over low heat until the butter has melted.
  5. Serve immediately.
