Ingredients

  • 2 lb. hamburger
  • 2 large cans tomato juice
  • 2 cans chili hot beans
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp. minced garlic
  • 2 Tbsp. paprika
  • 2 Tbsp. cumin
  • 1 c. chili powder
  • cayenne pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Brown hamburger and chopped onion in a large skillet or saucepan; drain excess fat.
  2. Add the cooked meat and onion to a large saucepan with the tomato juice and 1 can of water.
  3. Stir in the chili hot beans and all spices except for cayenne pepper.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until it begins to thicken, about 20-30 minutes.
  5. Add cayenne pepper 1 teaspoon at a time, adjusting to your preferred level of spiciness.
