Ingredients

  • 1 box Duncan Hines Butter Recipe cake mix
  • 2 (9 oz.) Cool Whip
  • 2 small cartons sour cream or 1 large carton sour cream
  • 1 box powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Bake the cake as directed on the box and let it cool completely.
  2. Split each cake layer in half to make four layers.
  3. Mix the remaining ingredients: Cool Whip, sour cream, and powdered sugar.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly on the cooled cake layers.
  5. Refrigerate the assembled cake for 3 days before cutting and serving.
