Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 15 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 1 lb. macaroni
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • Velveeta cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown the chopped onion and ground beef in a skillet, then add tomato sauce and cook for 15 minutes until thickened.
  2. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions, drain, and spread in a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
  3. Beat the milk and egg together and pour over the cooked macaroni.
  4. Spread the cooked beef mixture over the macaroni and milk mixture.
  5. Top with slices of Velveeta cheese.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 20 to 30 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
