Juicy stuffed pork chops filled with flavorful cornbread, onions, celery, and sage, perfect for hearty family dinners or special occasions that call for comforting flavors.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups yellow cornbread, already cooked
  • 3 stalks celery, finely chopped
  • 3 large onions, finely chopped
  • 3 to 4 Tbsp. ground sage
  • 1 stick Parkay margarine
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Crumble the cooked cornbread into a large bowl and set aside.
  2. Melt the margarine in a medium-sized frying pan over low heat.
  3. Saute the onions and celery in the melted margarine until tender and onions are transparent.
  4. Add the sautéed vegetables to the crumbled cornbread.
  5. Add the beaten eggs, ground sage, and water to the mixture.
  6. Mix well with your hands until thoroughly combined.
  7. Use the mixture to stuff pork chops.
