Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 c. flour
  • salt
  • 1 c. nuts, chopped
  • 1/4 c. butter/oleo
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Mix sugar and cocoa together. Add butter and mix.
  2. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each one. Add flour, baking powder and salt.
  3. Last, add vanilla and nuts. Spread thin in jelly roll pan. Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes.
  4. Cool, cut in finger lengths and roll in powdered sugar.
  5. Keeps fresh in a tin container.
