Ingredients

  • 1 large can sliced peaches
  • 1 stick oleo or margarine, melted
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • vanilla to taste
  • 1 cup sugar

Instructions

  1. Line a pan with sliced peaches.
  2. Make a batter by mixing melted oleo, flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, milk, and vanilla.
  3. Pour the batter over the peaches.
  4. Mix 1 cup sugar with water and pour over the batter.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour.
