- Peel peaches and cut in half.
- Place in the bottom of an unbaked pie shell with cavity side down.
- Beat sugar and softened butter or margarine until well combined.

- Spread the mixture over the top of the peaches.
- Bake in a 375°F oven for 30 minutes.
