Tips & Substitutions

For a spicier kick, consider adding a pinch of cayenne pepper or a diced jalapeño to the chutney. If you don’t have mace, ground nutmeg can serve as a substitute. Ensure to simmer the chutney long enough to allow the flavors to meld, but be careful not to let it stick to the pot. This chutney pairs beautifully with grilled meats and can also be used as a spread on sandwiches.

Serving Suggestions

Peach chutney is a versatile condiment that complements a variety of dishes. Serve it alongside grilled chicken or pork for a sweet and tangy contrast, or use it as a topping for cheese platters. It also makes a great addition to sandwiches, particularly when paired with rich ingredients like cream cheese or brie. For a refreshing salad, consider serving with Farmer'S Salad.

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftover chutney in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. Freezing is also an option; transfer the chutney to a freezer-safe container, leaving some space for expansion, and it can be kept for up to three months. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight before serving.
