Ingredients

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 4 cups peaches

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400° to 450°F.
  2. Melt the margarine in a baking dish or saucepan.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the melted margarine, sugar, self-rising flour, milk, vanilla, and lemon juice; mix well.
  4. Add the peaches to the batter and gently fold in.
  5. Sprinkle the top with cinnamon-sugar.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 35 minutes or until golden brown.
