Instructions

  1. In small bowl, combine 1-1/2 cups cereal, brown sugar and 2 tablespoons margarine; set aside.
  2. Combine flour, salt, baking powder and spices; set aside.
  3. In medium-size bowl, beat together 1/4 cup margarine, granulated sugar and eggs until well combined.
  4. Stir in peaches.
  5. Add flour mixture and remaining 1-1/2 cups cereal, stirring until combined.
  6. Spread evenly in greased 9-inch square baking pan.
  7. Sprinkle with prepared topping.
  8. Bake in 350 degrees F oven about 30 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean.
  9. Serve warm or cold.
