Sweet and crunchy peanut buttered popcorn mixed with almonds creates a delicious snack perfect for parties, movie nights, or anytime craving a salty-sweet treat.

Ingredients

  • 3 qt. popped popcorn
  • 1 1/2 c. unblanched whole almonds
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. honey
  • 1/2 c. light corn syrup
  • 1 c. peanut butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. In a large roasting pan, combine the popped popcorn and almonds; keep warm in a 250°F oven.
  2. Butter the sides of a heavy 1 1/2-quart saucepan. Combine sugar, honey, and corn syrup in the pan.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly.
  4. Boil hard for 2 minutes, then remove from heat.
  5. Stir in peanut butter and vanilla until blended.
  6. Immediately pour the peanut butter mixture over the popcorn and almond mixture, stirring to coat well.
  7. Allow to cool, then break into bite-sized pieces.
