Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped peanuts

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, beat margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Add egg and beat at medium speed 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. Blend in melted chocolate and vanilla.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Spread 1 cup of the chocolate filling evenly into the graham cracker crust.
  6. Reserve the remaining chocolate filling for topping the pie.
  7. Sprinkle the chopped peanuts on top of the pie.
