Sweet and warm pear dumplings enveloped in crescent rolls with caramel sauce, perfect for cozy desserts or special occasions, topped with ice cream for added indulgence.

Ingredients

  • 1 can pear halves, drained
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 can crescent rolls
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 stick butter

Instructions

  1. Combine cornstarch, brown sugar, vanilla, and butter in a medium saucepan.
  2. Add pear juice and cook until thickened.
  3. Roll each pear half in a crescent roll dough.
  4. Place the wrapped pears in a buttered 13 x 9-inch pan.
  5. Pour the cooked caramel sauce over the pear dumplings.
  6. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
  8. Serve warm in individual dishes topped with ice cream and drizzled with sauce.
