Ingredients

  • 1 gallon beans, partially drained
  • 1 pound dark brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons dry mustard
  • 1.5 cups ketchup
  • bacon

Instructions

  1. Pour half the beans into a Dutch oven.
  2. Mix brown sugar and mustard, then cover the beans with half the mixture.
  3. Add the remaining beans and cover with the remaining mixture.
  4. Top with ketchup and decorate with bacon.
  5. Bake uncovered at 325°F for 2.5 hours.
