Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 cup sliced celery
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 (6 oz.) jar sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1 (2 oz.) jar diced pimiento, drained
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a large skillet.
  2. Add sliced celery, chopped onion, drained sliced mushrooms, drained diced pimiento, and salt.
  3. Stir in savory, if desired.
  4. Cook over medium heat, stirring often, for 5 to 7 minutes or until celery is crisp-tender.
  5. Add peas and cook until thoroughly heated.
