Ingredients

  • 6 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
  • 2 c. coarsely ground pecans
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 c. maple syrup
  • 1 c. canola oil

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts between waxed paper and flatten slightly with a meat pounder.
  2. Cut each chicken breast into 4 strips.
  3. Mix coarsely ground pecans, flour, and salt together in a small bowl.
  4. Dip each chicken strip in maple syrup, then roll in the pecan and flour mixture.
  5. Heat canola oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  6. Saute chicken strips until brown on both sides, about 3 minutes each side.
